| General Care |

Please take a few mintues to read about your ornament(s). These few points will help you mantain your ornament's beauty and durability.

Concrete is a porous material and will absorb moisture. Too much moisture, during the winter months, can result in crumbling or breakage. To minimize this problem, remember the following points:

Place your ornament on crushed rock, bricks, blacktop or concrete. This will protect it from the damp ground.
DO NOT put cold water in or on dry concrete during the heat of the day. This may "shock" the concrete and crack it.

| Fountains and Birdbaths |

DO NOT ALLOW WATER TO COLLECT AND FREEZE in any part of the ornament, as breakage is possiable. DO remove the fountain and birdbath bowls from the pedestals or take indoors for the winter.

| Planters and Urns |

DO KEEP THE DRAIN HOLES OPEN. This can be accomplished by placing a layer of stones or pop cans on the bottom of the planter before adding the soil and setting it on a block of wood. At the end of the season, be sure that the drain hole is open to avoid breakage during the winter months.
